HOLLIDAYSBURG — Blair County commissioners are reconvening their weekly business meeting at noon Friday because their regular meeting for Tuesday, Aug. 18, is canceled.

Commissioners, who have been meeting using telephone and video calling options, announced Tuesday that instead of adjourning, they would recess and reconvene on Friday.

Commissioners Chairman Bruce Erb said Tuesday that the Aug. 18 meeting is canceled because of a virtual conference planned by the Pennsylvania Association of County Commissioners.
