Inmate pleads guilty to prohibited object
JOHNSTOWN — An inmate at Moshannon Valley Correctional Center in Philipsburg has pleaded guilty in federal court in Johnstown to a charge of possession of a prohibited object in prison and was sentenced to two months in prison, U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady said.
Zhivrago McBride, 38, pleaded guilty to the indictment before U.S. District Judge Kim R. Gibson.
On Aug. 17, 2018, McBride possessed a 7-inch sharpened piece of metal attached to an ink pen.
Brady commended the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Moshannon Valley Correctional Center, Special Investigative Staff, for the investigation.
