Coalport woman faces new counts
DUBOIS — A Coalport woman already facing burglary charges for allegedly breaking into a Clearfield County garage, has been charged with felony criminal trespass for an incident in another part of the county.
State police say Kristin R. Ricciotti, 43; a Coalport man, Joel Riley McCellan, 20; and a known juvenile were captured on surveillance photos in a camp in Pine Township on July 14.
The owner, who knows the trio, said none of them had permission to be inside his camp.
In an interview with police, Ricciotti stated that they “were just inside the camp hanging out” and insisted nothing was stolen. When asked how they got in, she said one of the boys got in through an unlocked window but was unsure which of them it was, according to the affidavit.
Ricciotti waived her right to a preliminary hearing during centralized court in Clearfield County Friday, sending the case on to the court of common pleas. She is free on $5,000, unsecured bail.
McCellan who is being held on $25,000 bail, has signed a plea agreement in this case and is scheduled for sentencing in February, according to court records.
In October, Ricciotti was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property in connection to an incident on Oct. 2 in Woodward Township.
In that case, her bail was set at $10,000, unsecured.
