Write-in candidate to join B-A board

BELLWOOD — A former board member and a newcomer have won four-year seats on the Bellwood-Antis School Board, updated unofficial results show.

Jeffrey Plummer, who served on the board from 1999 to 2014, was the top vote getter in the Nov. 5 election, garnering 1,141 votes, according to results listed on the Blair County website.

Incumbents Kevin Luensmann, with 1,071 votes, Katherine Burch, with 1,069 votes, and Thomas Finn, with 975 votes, were all re-elected to four year terms. Since there were the only four names on the ballot for five open seats, Hope Ray will get the fifth seat as she received 58 write-in votes.

Incumbents Scott Boyer and Ben Irvin did not seek re-election.
