BELLWOOD — Bellwood-Antis High School students will hold a Giving Thanks Day from 8 to 11:11 a.m. Wednesday in which students will be participating in community service projects around the Bellwood area.

The students in Renaissance Club made a list of ideas that would help others and will implement it this week.

Some groups will be doing projects within the school, some just off campus around town and others will be in nearby areas like Graystone Manor.

Cleaning up litter and yard waste, baking cookies for the elderly, raising money for MiniTHON, reading to elementary students, making blankets for local veterans and volunteering at the local library are among the 20 projects the students are taking on.
