Inmate indicted for having contraband

JOHNSTOWN — An inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Loretto was indicted by a federal grand jury in Johnstown on a charge of possession of a prohibited object in prison, U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady said.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 7, 2018, Cameron Bivins-Breeden, 26, possessed a quantity of Buprenorphine.

The law provides for a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence would be based upon the seriousness of the offense and the prior criminal history of the defendant.
