Jury finds Clearfield County man guilty of child porn

CLEARFIELD — A Frenchville man was found guilty of possessing child pornography on Wednesday after a two-day trial in Clearfield County Court.

It took the jury about 20 minutes to decide Dennis Paul Hudgens, 68, was guilty of 50 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal conspiracy/possession of child pornography.

Hudgens and Anthony James Terrizzi, 56, were both charged after an investigation into someone sharing files of child pornography on the internet traced the images to their address in Covington Township.

In December, a search warrant was executed on the residence.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Hudgens had a micro SD memory card in his pocket that included over 500 images of child pornography.

When police interviewed Hudgens, he allegedly said Terrizzi showed him porn images he had produced of a 9-year-old girl.

In his interview with investigators, Terrizzi reportedly admitted he used a cellphone to produce child pornography using a girl he knew.

Terrizzi is facing 50 felony counts each of photographing/filming/depicting on computer sex act and child pornography in the case filed in December and felony aggravated indecent assault, felony photographing/filming/depicting on computer sex act and a misdemeanor count of indecent assault on person less than 13 years of age in a second case filed in July.

Online court documents indicate that Terrizzi, who reportedly signed a plea agreement during jury selection last week, is scheduled for sentencing in September.

Hudgens, who will be sentenced within 60 days, was charged with child pornography in 2011 in Dauphin County, but those court records show the charges were later dismissed.
