Small earthquake felt in region

The United States Geolo­gical Survey reported that a magnitude 3.4 earthquake occurred about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Juniata County.

According to the USGS, the epicenter of the earthquake was about 11 miles southwest of Mifflintown.

The earthquake comes days after a 4.2 magnitude temblor from Lake Erie rattled Cleveland, Ohio.
