Results pending in Gallitzin deaths

Pair found with drug paraphernalia

GALLITZIN — The deaths of a man and woman in their early 20s in a Gallitzin home earlier this week are still

being investigated, pending toxicology results.

Brianna E. Knopp, 21, and Brett T. Fowler, 22, both of Gallitzin, died Monday in a second floor bedroom, with drug paraphernalia nearby, Cambria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees said.

Fowler and Knopp died at Fowler’s sister’s residence on the 800 block of Wilson Street.

Autopsies and toxicology tests were performed Tuesday.

It takes six weeks for toxicology results.

Because of the ongoing investigation, Lees declined to comment on what type of drug paraphernalia was found in the bedroom.
