Tommy Talks event planned
Group supports rights of sexual assault victims
Tommy Talks PA will host a “Someone Will Listen Speaker Series” event from 5 to 8 p.m. March 8 at the Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School auditorium at 1510 N. Montgomery St.
The event is to raise awareness for sexual assault victims’ rights and is in celebration of Tommy Williams’ 16th birthday.
Tommy, Sarah Klein and Jennifer Storm, the Pennsylvania victim advocate, will speak at the two-hour event.
There also will be a small reception with cupcakes afterward for a meet and greet with all the speakers.
The event is free, but attendees must be at least 16 years old.
Keystone Crisis Intervention Team advocates will be available if anyone needs to talk or to offer assistance during the event.
The first 100 people will get a Tommy Talks PA T-shirt.
