M&T Bank recognized
for community lending
M&T Bank ranks fifth in the nation for the Small Business Administration’s fiscal year 2020, reflecting its commitment to helping small businesses and communities by providing small business owners with expertise and flexible financing solutions.
M&T extended 1,110 loans for a total of $157 million over the course of the year. This is funding outside of M&T’s efforts through the Paycheck Protection Program, where M&T helped more than 35,000 small businesses acquire more than $7 billion in critical funding. M&T has been one of the top 10 most active SBA 7(a) lenders in the U.S. for the past 12 years.
Spherion hiring for over
300 light industrial jobs
Spherion Staffing Altoona is hiring for more than 300 light industrial jobs in Altoona, Bedford and Johnstown. The open positions are for a variety of roles, including retail distribution, general production, manufacturing, hospitality, machine and CNC operators, customer service and more.
With starting wages up to $18 per hour, the open positions are entry level and offer the opportunity to train in a new skill set.
