Online program to discuss senior citizen job session

Associates for Training & Development will offer an online orientation session at 1 p.m. Aug. 18 for people to learn about the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

SCSEP is a federally funded jobs training program specifically designed for older job seekers.

The session will be held on Zoom.

UPMC Home Healthcare recognized for satisfaction

UPMC Home Healthcare of Central Pennsylvania has been recognized by Strategic Healthcare Programs as a “Superior Performer” for achieving an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20 percent of all eligible SHP clients for the 2019 calendar year.

The annual SHPBest award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high quality service to their patients. The 2019 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for more than 3,000 home health providers.
