Boscov’s to close Thanksgiving Day
Boscov’s has announced it will close its stores on Thanksgiving day.
Since the onset of COVID-19, the primary focus at Boscov’s has been the health and safety of co-workers, customers and the community, the company said.
Closing on Thanksgiving eliminates a highly congested shopping day and gives this day back to families, Chairman/CEO Jim Boscov said in a statement.
“COVID-19 has required enormous efforts from our associates, and they’ve more than earned this time off,” Boscov said.
Based in Reading, Boscov’s operates 48 stores, including one in Logan Town Centre.
