Mount Aloysius to offer cannabis program

Mount Aloysius College has partnered with Green Flower Media, the leader in cannabis education to offer an innovative, six-month certificate program that will equip professionals with the skills to fulfill the growing workforce demands of companies in the legalized cannabis industry.

JARI sets free webinar on employee retention

JARI will host a free webinar from 12 to 1:15 p.m. July 23 .

Brooke Contacos of HR Consultants, Inc., will present Employee Retention & Engagement where attendees will learn how to build a high employee retention strategy that reduces employee turnover, help people reach greater levels of productivity leading to higher job satisfaction and engagement, and transform the entire workforce into a high employee retention culture.

South Hills plans online classes

The South Hills School of Business & Technology will host online classes July 13-17 using Zoom.

Each class is 30-60 minutes long, according to Peggy Reams, corporate training assistant, at the State College office.

The classes and times they will be held are:

— Fundamentals of blogging, noon, Monday.

— Using Excel’s logical functions, noon, Tuesday.

— Using 3D models in Microsoft Word, noon, Wednesday.

— Sorting and filtering Excel data, noon, Thursday.
