What products or services does your company provide?
As the largest dance store in central Pennsylvania, we offer shoes, tights, leotards, bags, gifts and accessories for dancers, twirlers, gymnasts and cheerleaders. We also sell new and gently used costumes in our consignment costume corner.
Who are your customers?
Dancers, twirlers, gymnasts and cheerleaders and their parents, along with local dance studios and school groups.
What is your business day like?
I spend my day training and scheduling staff, placing, receiving and putting away orders, shipping web and store orders and making sure that we have what our customers want when they come in to the store. I also spend time reorganizing displays, helping customers in the store, on the phone and on our website.
What is the best business advice you have received?
Don’t let perfection get in the way of progress.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job?
To treat people the way you want to be treated.
What does the future hold?
As the business continues to grow, we will continue to expand our selection to keep our customers coming back for more.

Trade journals that give insight into the economic conditions in the dance industry.
