CNB sees increased earnings

CLEARFIELD — CNB Financial Corp., the parent company of CNB Bank, announced net income of $10.5 million, or 69 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2019, as compared with $8.9 million, or 59 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2018.

CNB also announced net income of

$40.1 million, or $2.63 per share, for the year ended Dec. 31, compared with net income of $33.7 million, or $2.21 per share, in 2018.

CNB Financial Corp. is a financial holding company with consolidated assets of approximately $3.8 billion and conducts business primarily through its principal subsidiary, CNB Bank, which has 42 full-service offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.

SFU plans business seminar

LORETTO — The Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center has scheduled two pre-business planning seminars in February.

The free seminar is for people who are interested in opening and operating their own business.

Topics to be discussed are feasibility issues, marketing, recordkeeping, business plans, legal issues, regulations/taxes and financing.

Seminars will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 6 at the Altoona Blair County Development Corp., Devorris Center for Business Development, 3900 Industrial Park Drive, Altoona, and from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Small Business Develop­ment Center, 2299 Manor Drive, Loretto.
