ARW selected as beneficiary
The American Rescue Workers has been selected as a beneficiary of the Martin’s Bags 4 My Cause Program for the month of February.
The American Rescue Workers will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Bags 4 My Cause Bag is purchased at the Martin’s location on Logan Boulevard during February, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
The bags are sold at other Martin’s locations as well, and donations could be directed back to the American Rescue Workers through the Giving Tag at the top of the bag.
The American Rescue Workers is a nonprofit food pantry based in Hollidaysburg. It serves families in need in Hollidaysburg, Duncansville, Martinsburg, East Freedom, Roaring Spring and Newry and offer several giveaways throughout the year for the Blair County community.
The accounting firm of Ondick-McGlynn has merged with Barnes, Saly & Co. effective Jan. 1.
Robert Ondick and Patrick McGlynn will remain involved with their clients during the transition. The merger will combine the expertise and talents of both firms to service the needs of their clients.
The merger will operate under Barnes Saly & Co. P.C., Certified Public Accountants & Consultants, 637 Ferndale Ave., Suite 100, Johnstown.
