Rebekah Manor sold

Cambridge Retirement Living has acquired Rebekah Manor Wellness Community, a senior care facility in Ebensburg.

Rebekah Manor is the latest property to join the Cambridge Retirement Living and will be known as Cambridge Ebensburg.

Cambridge Retirement Living is a network of personal and memory care facilities that serve residents in western Pennsylvania. Each facility is professionally staffed and licensed in accordance with state laws and requirements.

Meanwhile, renovations have begun and include the addition of a movie theater, beauty parlor, computer lab and new activities area. Floor-to-ceiling improvements to rooms and personal spaces will proceed as vacancies permit. Cambridge Ebensburg will remain fully operational as facility renovations are undertaken and completed.

Donna Vena will remain as the Cambridge Ebensburg administrator.

Pet grooming business opens

The Bark Side Pet Spa is now open for business at 1120 12th Ave.

Owned by Beth Wagner, the business provides professional pet grooming with specialized treatment specifically centered around pets’ needs.

Bark Side Pet Spa is open Wednesday through Saturday. Evening appointments are available.
