Saint Francis University sets business planning seminar
The Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center has scheduled a pre-business planning seminar for December.
This free seminar is for people who are interested in opening and operating their own business.
Topics to be discussed are feasibility issues, marketing, recordkeeping, business plans, legal issues, regulations/taxes and financing.
The seminar will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at the SBDC, 2299 Manor Drive, Loretto.

Thomas Subaru participating in Share the Love program
Thomas Subaru of Bedford is participating in the 2019 Subaru Share the Love Event and has selected Special Olympics of Bedford County as its hometown charity to be added to the list of organizations that customers can select to receive a Subaru Share the Love Event donation.
The event runs through Jan. 2, and allows Subaru retailers the opportunity to select charities operating in their community to be included in a list of organizations that new owners can select from to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America Inc.
At the culmination of this year, SOA and its retailers hope to exceed a grand total of $170 million donated since the creation of the Subaru Share the Love Event.
