Stuckey Subaru kicks off annual campaign

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Stuckey Subaru has kicked off the Subaru Share the Love Event, an annual campaign.

Throughout the event, Subaru of America will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle leased or purchased to one of four national charities — Meals on Wheels America, ASPCA, Make-A-Wish or the National Park Foundation — or locally to the United Way of Blair County.

The United Way of Blair County has been named the hometown charity for the third consecutive year.

The event runs through Jan. 2.

“The Subaru Share the Love Event is an extension of the Subaru Love Promise, a vision to show love and respect to everyone,” Matt Stuckey, president of Stuckey Subaru, said in a statement. “Partnering with the United Way of Blair County is another opportunity for our team to personify that vision and positively impact those who work and live in our community.”

“Thanks in part to Stuckey Subaru, we are able to provide funding for 29 human service programs that are helping to build a better Blair County. Thousands of lives are impacted by these programs,” Melanie Shildt, United Way of Blair County executive director, said in a statement.

In recent iterations of the Subaru Share the Love Event, Stuckey Subaru has partnered with The American Rescue Workers, The Salvation Army, Family Services of Altoona and CONTACT Altoona.
