Casandra VanNest, Chad Riley

Casandra VanNest and Chad Riley were united in marriage at 6 p.m. April 23 at the Church of the Forest, Pinckney, Mich.

The bride is the daughter of Betsy VanNest and Lynn Kagarise of Huntingdon and Jeff VanNest and Brenda Moschgat of Frankstown Township.

The bridegroom is the son of Steve and Judy Riley of Temperance, Mich.

Jeremy Moghtader performed the ceremony.

Music was provided by the Western Chorus Frogs.

The bride was given in marriage by Big Mama Nature.

Samara Trumbull-Moghtader was the axe bearer.

The reception was held at the Crooked Lake Campground, Pinckney. Ellen Moje was hostess.

The rehearsal dinner was held around the campfire.

The couple took a wedding trip to the mountains of Pennsylvania.

They live in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Mrs. Riley is a 2009 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Annville, with a bachelor of art degree in art history, and a 2014 graduate of Michigan State University, Lansing, Mich., with a certificate in organic farming.

She is owner of Restless Roots Farm, Ypsilanti.

Mr. Riley is a 2002 graduate of Bedford High School, Temperance, Mich.

He is employed by Ford Motor Co., Ypsilanti.
