Student to take part in National Youth Leadership Forum
TYRONE — This summer, Wyatt Dibert of Tyrone will join outstanding elementary school students from across the state to take part in the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM at the University of La Roche in Pittsburgh.
Wyatt is in third grade at Tyrone Elementary School.
NYLF Pathways to STEM is one of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs (www.envisionexperience.com) that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.
Wyatt has many interests when it comes to the STEM program. He is excited to learn computer programming and crime investigation. At the age of 8, he has shown exemplary skills in leadership in the classroom. His interest in gaming has already led him to creating games and publishing them on the very popular game Roblox.
This opportunity will help him explore behind the scenes with game development. He also has a very strong interest in astromony and astrophysics.
This will open up so many possibilities for him and will challenge him to be a leader and to grow more confidence.
