Robert “Bob” Donaldson submitted this photo of the George B. Kelley Baseball Championship Team from the 1948 recognition dinner at the Elks Club. The team from 11th Ward Altoona won the championship and went to Dayton, Ohio, to compete further. This was the first year for the George B. Kelley Federation Baseball League.
