Home Nursing kicks off Lights of Love
Program honors and memorializes loved ones through Jan. 3
The joy of the holiday season can be marked by sadness for those with loved ones who have passed away.
Remembering our loved ones and including them in our observances keeps them alive in our hearts and celebrates their legacy that continues to live on.
For the 14th year, the Home Nursing Agency Foundation Lights of Love tribute event invites area residents to “shine your own special light” for someone you love.
Selected trees at the UPMC Home Healthcare of Central Pennsylvania offices in Altoona and Ebensburg are being lit with bright lights.
White lights represent Family Hospice, and blue lights represent grief services for children, adults and families, including those served through the Healing Patch Children’s Grief Program.
Trees will be lit Nov. 25 through Jan. 3.
Donations of any amount are welcomed and allow donors to share a personal dedication for a loved one that is publicized on an interactive tree at HomeNursingAgency.com.
All proceeds from Lights of Love benefit Family Hospice and grief services for children and adults.
Family Hospice serves people in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata and Somerset counties.
Donations can be made by calling 1-855-GIVE-HNA (1-855-448-3462) or by visiting HomeNursingAgency.com.
The Home Nursing Agency Foundation gratefully recognizes the 2024 Lights of Love sponsors: UPMC Health Plan, UPMC Altoona, Blair Image Elements and Quality Services.
The foundation welcomes all private and public donations, which are tax-deductible.
