DUNCANSVILLE — Hollidaysburg Area School District’s Foot of Ten Elementary School announced the installation of two Gaga Ball pits for its playground.

Alexis Eardley installed a hexagon Gaga Ball pit for kindergarten through second grade, and Addison Smith, Katie Fulton, Claire Farrell and Izabelle Cooper-Royer installed an octagon Gaga Ball pit for third through sixth grade.

The girls are from Hollidaysburg Girl Scout Troop No. 46695, and each earned their Silver Award from Girl Scouts of Western PA.

The two Girl Scout projects were successful after one year of collaboration with Principal Jaime Hartline, Tony Luther of Luther Sitework Solutions and the Foot of Ten PTO.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and a brief Gaga Ball demonstration were held on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
