Auditions set for

‘Drowsy Chaperone’

Cresson Lake Playhouse will hold auditions for “The Drowsy Chaperone” at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the CLP Lantzy Rehearsal Hall, 427 S. Center St., Ebensburg.

Due to the recent lifting of the capacity restrictions due to the COVID pandemic that will take place on May 31, CLP is now able to hold an indoor production.

The production will take place July 13-18.

Director Paul Seymour said, “You can prepare ahead by using the music and monologues at www.cressonlake.com, or we can teach it to you at the beginning of auditions.”

Auditionees are asked to bring their calendars. They will need to list all rehearsal conflicts ahead of time at auditions. It is vital in casting that the director know of any work conflicts or vacations in advance, so that the staff can work around them.

Resume and headshots are optional. There is also a form for auditionees to complete online prior to auditions at www

.cressonlake.com.

Any questions can be directed to paulseymour

clp@yahoo.com or by calling the Cresson Lake Playhouse office at 814-472-4333. Tickets for the production are not yet available for sale but will be in the near future at www.cressonlake.com.
