Dragon Pride Foundation makes donations

CLAYSBURG — The Dragon Pride Foundation exists to provide funds for innovative programs which offer each student opportunities for extended learning in the Spring Cove School District.

In line with that mission, the Dragon Pride Foundation has made several donations recently.

To start off the 2020-21 school year, the Dragon Pride Foundation purchased neck gaiters for all students, teachers, coaches, bus drivers and staff to wear as masks to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The neck gaiters were branded with the dragon mascot to show school spirit and encourage all students to wear the gaiters to school.

The Dragon Pride Foundation also made donations of $500 to each of the libraries in the Spring Cove School District.

The Dragon Pride Foundation is aware of the libraries’ difficulties maintaining their budgets as the coronavirus limits their ability to fundraise.
