In April, Duncansville Domino’s donated pizza for all three shifts at the Blair County Prison, Hollidaysburg, to show their appreciation for essential workers. Blair County Corrections Officer Thomas Yoder accepted a donation from Domino’s employee Dakota Carrieri.

Hollidaysburg Legion cancels parade

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Sam Dunkle, American Legion Post 516 commander, announced that the American Legion Post 516 has canceled the Hollidaysburg Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We request that everyone pause at 11 a.m. on Memorial Day to remember those military service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. Stay safe and healthy. For God and Country,” Dunkle said.

Church offering food bank today
