The Altoona Area High School Performing Arts Club will present “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the AAHS auditorium.

Described as “an irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)’ was London’s longest-running comedy.”

A madcap ensemble in tights weaves its wicked way through all 37 of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories and tragedies in one wild 97-minute ride that will leave the audience breathless and helpless with laughter.

Whether you love Shakespeare or hate him, you will find yourself in stitches by the end of the night in this hilarious send-up of his work.

General admission tickets will be available for purchase at the door 45 minutes prior to the show.

They are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
