Blazing Buffalo Patrol wins Klondike Derby

TYRONE — The Webelos Blazing Buffalo Patrol from Hollidaysburg Cub Scout Pack 331 took home the first-place trophy for the 2019 Chief Logan District Webelos Klondike Derby held at Camp Anderson on Feb. 23, beating 12 other teams for the coveted trophy.

The patrol also captured the Best Sled Trophy.

A Klondike derby is an annual cold-weather event held by Scouts BSA and is based on the heritage of the Klondike Gold Rush.

Cub Scout Pack 331 is under the leadership of Cubmaster Gary Keefer.

The pack meets at 7 p.m. Mondays during the school year at St. Michael’s Church Activity Building in Hollidaysburg.
