Bikers for Barkers organizers announced that the 2018 Bikers for Barkers Charity Motorcycle Run netted $9,670 to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.

For the first time in its 18-year history, the Bikers for Barkers Motorcycle Run was postponed due to torrential rain.

Event chair Tamsen Nuss said, “We made the difficult decision to reschedule the ride in the interest of safety, based on input from local law enforcement and emergency responders. Even with this minor setback, we consider this year’s event a success. Over 223 riders and passengers enjoyed a scenic ride through the hills of central Pennsylvania.”

CPHS receives no government funding and relies on events such as the Bikers for Barkers Charity Motorcycle Run to help them provide shelter and medical care to hundreds of homeless pets each year.
