The Allegheny Chorale will present “Christmas Is Coming” at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at St. James Lutheran Church in Altoona and at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tyrone.

Under the direction of Deborah Estright, selections include holiday favorites including “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “Mary Did You Know?” and “The Christmas Song.” The Chorale will also highlight some new arrangements, including “The Theme From Elf” and “Jonathan’s Bell Carol,” featuring first grader Elias McCracken.

Assisting the 55-member choir are accompanists Anna Myers and Sharon Leap, assistant director Karen Mayhew and percussionist Paul Turner.
