‘Christmas Carol’ to be staged

Miracle Productions at St. Luke’s will present its second annual production of “Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol … in Altoona.”

The five performances of this holiday classic with a local twist will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12-14 and at

2 p.m. Dec. 14 and 15. The show will be staged in the auditorium at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Eighth Avenue, between 12th and 13th streets.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. Ticket price includes dessert, beverage and bonus entertainment at intermission.

Proceeds from the show will benefit St. Luke’s Food Pantry and other ministries. Additional donations for the food pantry in cash or kind can be dropped off at the box office on show days.

Tickets are available in advance from cast members and at two Thompson Pharmacy locations: on Chestnut Avenue in Altoona and on Blair Street in Hollidaysburg.
