The Paint-to-Drip Rain Barrel Workshop is going to take place at 9 a.m. June 8 at Providence Presbyter-ian Church, 2401 Broad Ave., Altoona. The rain date for the event is set for June 22.

This is a free-style instructional painting party that will be followed by refreshments and a learning session which will explain the importance and benefits of rain barrels.

There are limited canvases so the workshop is a first come, first served basis.

Registration is $35 and is required. Contact the Blair County Conservation District for more information by calling 696-0877, ext. 3325.
