Moose Riders host 3rd Annual Special Accommodations Prom May 19

The Bedford 480 Moose Riders are hosting the 3rd Annual Special Accommodations Prom May 19 at the Bedford Moose Lodge from 2 to 5 p.m. This year the theme “The Enchanted Forest.”

The prom is open to anyone age 14 and up that is on the Autism Spectrum, challenged/special needs. Attendees are encouraged to attend from any of the following counties (but not limited to these counties): Bedford, Blair, Somerset, Huntingdon, Fulton/Franklin, Cambria and Allegany and Garret Counties in Maryland.

Each attendee is welcome to bring one guest with them. Attendees will receive a wrist corsage or boutonniere, courtesy of Weis Markets Floral Department and through the generous donations of numerous businesses and supporters; all food, drink, photos, and prom gifts will be provided free of charge.

Each attendee will have their formal photo taken (as well as some fun ones) and will be able to download them from the 480 Moose Riders Facebook page. DJ Second Chance will once again be providing the music for the prom. Tommy Moose will be on hand to crown the prince/princess and king/queen.
