The Family Life Office of the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese has announced the scheduling of the Annual Wedding Anniversary Liturgies honoring couples celebrating their 1, 5, 10, 25, 40, 50, 55 and 60-plus anniversaries within the 2018 calendar year.

Couples and their families may attend the Eucharistic celebration in Altoona on Sept. 9 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament or Johnstown on Sept. 16 at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Bishop Mark L. Bartchak will be celebrant and homilist at both Masses, which begin at 2 p.m.

A beverage and cookies reception will follow the Eucharistic celebrations for celebrating couples and their family members.

Couples who wish to attend one of these celebrations should contact their home parish by Tuesday to make the necessary reservations.
