Rip Van Winkle Play Performed at St. Luke’s!

From Lisa Escott Long: This is not your typical church play, rather, a full-scale production with lights, costumes, makeup, sound effects… based on Washington Irving’s classic tale of Rip Van Winkle. Delicious desserts provided during intermission.

About the play: Dutch-American villager in colonial America named

Rip Van Winkle falls asleep in the Catskill Mountains and wakes up twenty years later, having missed the American Revolution. Directed by Woody and Marilyn Pyeatt and played by actors from all over the region, this event is not to be missed. All shows will likely be sold out, so you may want to purchase tickets in advance.
