Teen charged with stabbing two others waiting for train

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia teenager has surrendered to police in connection with the stabbing of two other teens as they waited for a subway train after school.

Police say the 16-year-old boy turned himself in Tuesday.

He’s charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses. It’s unclear if he has an attorney who can comment on the charges.

Police say two 17-year-old boys were stabbed at a bustling downtown subway station last Wednesday, not long after school let out. One teen was stabbed in the neck, stomach and left arm. The other boy was stabbed in the chest, stomach and was cut on the wrist.
