Harry and Sarah Miller

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Miller of Duncansville celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary by having their entire family home over the Thanksgiving holiday.

They were married Dec. 2, 1978, at the Hollidaysburg Church of the Brethren by Pastor Harry Spaeth.

Mrs. Miller is the former Sarah R. Mills, daughter of Nancy Mills of Hollidaysburg and the late Robert Mills.

Mr. Miller is the son of the late Harry and Sara (Sally) Miller of Hollidaysburg.

The high school sweethearts, Hollidaysburg Area High School classes of 1975 and 1976, are the parents of three daughters: Rochelle M. “Shelly” Hoover and her husband, Matthew A., of Flowery Branch, Ga.; Jennifer E. of Avon, Colo.; and Stephanie A. Onkst and husband, Robert W., of Hollidaysburg.

They also have four grandchildren: Blake and Ava Hoover and Abraham and Luke Onkst.

The Millers have been owners of Blair Auto Service and Power Equipment Inc. in Duncansville since 1985, and were both formerly employed by Berwind Railway Service, Hollidaysburg.

During the summer, the couple can be found at their home away from home on their boat, Tsunami, at Lake Raystown Resort.

Mr. Miller also enjoys golf, and both are avid trivia players.

They are members of Hollidaysburg Church of the Brethren.
