Hilltop too much for Central Cambria program

JOHNSTOWN — Nathan Martin and Isaac Thompson pinned their opponents for Central Cambria, but the Red Devils were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the District 6 Class 2A Team Duals by Westmont Hilltop, 54-18, on Tuesday in high school wrestling.

Central Cambria had defeated Juniata earlier in the night, 39-36, with pins from Jon Regala and Alex Jeffers.

Westmont advanced to the semifinals on Saturday at Tyrone and will face Forest Hills. The Rangers beat Penn Cambria in the quarterfinals, 45-23, after Penn Cambria beat Marion Center in the first round, 36-30.
