Notable: Teams have not played since 38-28 Blue Devils’ victory on Sept. 25, 2015, also in Alexandria.

Bishop Carroll (1-1) at Tyrone (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: Tyrone quarterback Denver Light did not finish last Friday’s win over Central after a fourth-quarter hit.

Bishop Guilfoyle (1-1) at Cambria Heights (0-2), 7 p.m.

Notable: Marauders, coming off 30-0 loss, will be playing on a Friday night for the first time this season

Bishop McCort (0-2) at Bedford (1-1), 7 p.m.

Notable: Teams have split last four meetings, including a 42-0 win by each team in consecutive years (2015-2016).

Central (1-1) at Clearfield (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: Scarlet Dragons had lost six in a row since 2008 before splitting last four meetings with Bisons.

Notable: Eagles scored 19 second-half points to rally for win last week after not scoring for first six quarters this year.

Claysburg-Kimmel (1-1) at West Branch (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: Warriors standing at 2-0 on strength of a 26-point quarter against P-O and 21-point quarter vs. Mo Valley.

Forest Hills (1-1) at Richland (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: Forest Hills’ Don Bailey is 13-2 against son Brandon (Richland’s coach). Two Rams wins came in 2011-2012.

Notable: Though teams haven’t played last two years, Warriors on three-game winning streak in series.

Johnstown (0-2) at Penn Cambria (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: Panthers scored 32 points in win over Central Cambria after scoring just 66 all of last season.

Notable: Black Knights in danger of starting 0-3 for the first time under coach Michael Keith.

North Star (0-2) at Blacklick Valley (0-2), 7 p.m.

Notable: Vikings have won four straight against North Star since 46-19 setback on Oct. 25, 2013.

Northern Cambria (2-0) at West Shamokin (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: In two games since Wolves joined Heritage Conference, Colts have won by three and six (in double overtime).

Philipsburg-Osceola (0-2) vs. Bellefonte (2-0), at Lock Haven University

Notable: This was scheduled to be Red Raiders’ home opener, but if they play at all at home it won’t be until Oct. 26.

Notable: Mustangs 6-0 and have outscored Windber, 266-49, since last Ramblers win in series on Sept. 20, 2011.

State College (2-0) at Hollidaysburg (2-0), 7 p.m.

Notable: Little Lions 2-0 against Golden Tigers since series picked back up in 2016. SC leads all-time series 39-30.

Southern Huntingdon (2-0) at Williamsburg (0-2), 7 p.m.

Notable: Inter-County Conference foes have split last six meetings, but Rockets came out on top, 45-0, last year.

Notable: The Indians are a Class 4A school that competes in the Mid-Penn Keystone Division.

Notable: Titans already have as many wins in 2018 as they had combined in the past three seasons.

Central Cambria (1-1) at Westmont Hilltop (1-1), 1 p.m.

Notable: Hilltoppers have doubled up Red Devils, 82-41, during current three-game win streak in series.
