Harr leads way for Mtn. Lions

PITTSBURGH — Kobe Harr ran for a pair of touchdowns, threw for another and recovered a fumble in the end zone to account for all of Altoona’s points in a 28-14 victory over Mount Pleasant in freshman football action on Thursday.

Jacob Schmidhamer caught a 15-yard TD pass from Harr as Altoona improved to 4-3-1.

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg scored 13 unanswered points that helped it overcome a 12-6 halftime deficit in its win over Tyrone.

Adam Zimmerman, Anthony Weyant and Garrett Krazter each had a rushing touchdown for Hollidaysburg, which finished its season at 2-5-1.

LOYSBURG — Peanut Knorr ran for two touchdowns and returned a kickoff 74 yards for a score as Williamsburg edged Northern Bedford.

Knorr also scored the game-deciding two-point conversion.

Dylan James added a 50-yard touchdown run for the Blue Pirates, who finished the year 3-3-1.
