Athlete of the week achievement: Hudson scored a game-high 17 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, to help Altoona capture the District 6 Class 6A championship with a 50-38 victory over State College.

Season update: Since returning from injuries, Hudson is averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game. She’s averaged 16 points in the last four games.

Coach Miriam Colledge’s quote: “There are not enough words to describe the impact that she has on our team. Her return in near-full form has been instrumental in the way our team has played its last four games. Her physicality and her ability to get to the basket create challenges for the opposition and make her very difficult to guard. Her hard work has paid off — she recently verbally committed to play Division II basketball next year at Cal U.”
