Girls roundup: Altoona rolls to 45-point win

The Altoona girls basketball team finished up at 12-4 in the Mid-Penn League Wednesday night, thanks to an 80-35 win over Chambersburg in high school action at the Fieldhouse.

Bridgid Fox had 22 points and 14 rebounds while Caranda Perea added 21 points and six blocks. Olivia Hudson rounded it out with 20 points.

Altoona, which led 27-10 after one quarter, improved to 14-7 overall. Chambersburg got 11 points from Sydney Schmus.
