Glendale tops Claysburg

H.S. boys basketball

FLINTON — Glendale jumped out to an 18-9 first-quarter lead which propelled the Vikings to a 78-62 victory over Claysburg-Kimmel Thursday night in high school boys basketball action.

The Vikings (5-4) got 25 points from Jake Jasper and 21 points from Josh Potutschnig.

The Bulldogs (6-5), down 37-27 at halftime, were led by Landon Bauman’s 19 points. Teammate Alex Kulick added 17 points.
