Lady Lions’ strong third key to victory
LATROBE — Thanks to a 22-13 showing in the third quarter, the Altoona girls were able to put enough distance between them and Latrobe in a 61-52 victory Tuesday night in high school action.
Bridgid Fox’s 18 points were tops for the Lady Lions (9-1), who were tied at halftime, 29-29. Teammates Olivia Hudson and Shaina Lear each chipped in with 11 points.
