Highlanders score upset over Rangers
PATTON — Trailing by three heading into the final quarter, Cambria Heights outscored Forest Hills, 16-9, to grab a 58-53 Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Section I victory Thursday night in high school boys basketball action.
Liam Wholaver erupted for a game-high 29 points, while Damon Maul added 10 for the Highlanders.
Ryan Richardson led the Rangers, down 33-30 at halftime, with 18 points, and Adam Cecere totaled 13.

BG freshman triumph
Konner Kiesewetter scored 14 points to lead Bishop Guilfoyle to a 35-24 win over Altoona Maroon Thursday afternoon in freshman boys basketball action.
The Marauders improved to 11-1.
Tolson Schilling’s eight points were tops for Altoona, which fell to 4-9.
