Great Commission rolls past DuBois

DuBOIS — Great Commission improved to 3-1 Tuesday night with a 59-11 victory at DuBois Christian in high school boys basketball action.

The Bears were led in scoring by Aaron Benson, who scored a game-high 18 points while Elliot Long netted 10 points.

Jake Foster had 22 rebounds for Great Commission.

BEDFORD — In the season opener for both schools, Blair County Christian fell to Bedford CIA in boys basketball.

Jonathan Hight led the Bobcats with 13 points with Brett Binduga close behind with 12.

DuBOIS — Leah Tofano had a double-double for Great Commission with 10 points and 24 rebounds as the Lady Bears squeaked out a win at DuBois Christian in high school girls basketball action.

Haleigh Hatfield had 10 points and seven steals for Great Commission, which remained unbeaten at 4-0.
