PATTON — Bedford jumped out to a 15-8 lead after one quarter and went on to knock off Cambria Heights, 40-31, in high school girls basketball on Monday.

Lindsay Shuke and Jaden Fuller each scored 14 points for the Lady Bisons, and Amber Thomas scored 10.

Kirsten Weakland led Heights with 14 points, and Chloe Weakland had seven rebounds.

Jenna Bauer and Liz Bopp each had 10 rebounds for double-double nights with 12 and 10 points, respectively. McKenna Hayward led the Lady Devils with 15 points, Paige Wess finished with 13, Cassidy Bezek scored 11, and Abbie Young had 10.

Mikayla Martin finished with 19 points for Bishop McCort.
