BEDFORD — Cassidy Bezek had 13 points and McKenna Hayward 12 to lead Central Cambria past Bedford, 58-31, in girls high school basketball action Friday night.

Jenna Brown and Leah Davidson had six points apiece to lead Bedford.

PATTON — Chloe Weakland’s 17 points and 14 rebounds powered Cambria Heights to its third win of the week, a Laurel Highlands Conference intersectional nailbiter over visiting Westmont Hilltop.

Weakland’s younger sister, Kirsten, led all scorers with 18 points. Heights led by three in the final minute but got a five-point cushion when Chloe Weakland pulled down an offensive rebound off a missed free throw and scored off a skip pass from Abby Lobick. Hannah Davis and Molly Callihan scored 17 and 13, respectively, for Westmont.
